Works to common property - The impact on owners corporation's insurance

Owners corporations are required by law to take out and keep current various insurances, including a damage policy for the building, and general public liability insurance. These insurances are granted subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions. If the terms and conditions are not complied with, it may prejudice the amount that the owners corporation could otherwise claim under the insurance, or in some cases invalidate the policy all together.
