Conrad has been working at Bannermans since June 2024. Prior to joining Bannermans, Conrad worked in a boutique Inner West Sydney law firm, initially as a law clerk, and subsequently as a paralegal and later as an admitted solicitor, working on a wide range of matters with a primary focus on conveyancing and property transactions.
Since joining Bannermans, Conrad has worked in the Strata team undertaking a range of work which include:
• advising on and drafting by-laws for owners corporations and individuals;
• advising on strata matters generally, including disputes in respect of ownership, letting, and repair and maintenance responsibilities;
• advising on and assisting strata schemes to undertake strata renewal proceedings (collective sale / redevelopment);
• advising on and drafting Building /Strata Management Statements, including apportionment of shared facilities, dispute resolution mechanisms and insurance obligations;
• advising on compliance with the Design and Building Practitioners Legislation;
• advising on boundary matters, including tree, fencing and retaining wall disputes;
• advising on and drafting contracts, deeds and licences generally, including management contracts, asset sale deeds and crane access licenses;
• advising on and completing conveyancing and property transactions; and
• participating in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
