Joshua Lee

Joshua has been working at Bannermans since June 2025. Prior to joining Bannermans, Joshua predominantly practised in property and commerical law, assisting clients with the sale and purchase of businesses, commercial and retail lease matters and the preparation and review of various corporate/commercial agreements. Joshua acted for a range of international property investment entities, primarily in relation to leasing matters. Joshua has also experience managing the day-to-day carriage of litigation matters including mortgage recoveries in various jurisdictions within Australia. He speaks fluent English and Korean.

Since joining Bannermans, Joshua has worked in the Strata Advice team, undertaking the following work:

Strata Law

  • advising on and drafting by-laws for owners corporations and individuals;
  • advising on strata matters generally, including disputes in respect of ownership, repair and maintenance responsibilities and insurance obligations;
  • advising on subdivision, notice of conversion and development approval matters ;
  • advising on strata loans;
  • advising on the strata renewal process; and
  • advising on easements and boundary matters, including tree, fencing and retaining wall disputes.

Qualifications/Memberships

  • Bachelor of Laws (University of Sydney) 2022.
  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (The College of Law Australia) 2023
  • Member of the Law Society of NSW
  • Julius Stone Prize in Sociological Jurisprudence 2021
